Our annual fall and winter visitors have arrived! Yards all around southern California are filled with the sights and sounds of White-Crowned Sparrows. These hungry little birds will readily eat millet, sunflower seeds, peanuts, suet, and even the occasional nyjer seed. It may take some time for them to get comfortable in your yard, but once they do, you might catch them lounging around taking in some sun. Keep them fed throughout the winter and early spring and you are sure to see these birds returning to your yard again next year!
Stop in and talk to our backyard birdfeeding specialists to see how you can attract these little songbirds to your yard.
